Making Joe feel good.
Joe is a real good friend of Eddie. But how much do you know about him? Coffee bean farmers in many countries are suffering as a result of unfair trade laws, overuse of chemical pesticides and herbicides, and abuse from local criminals and authorities. That's why all the beans we brew and sell are fair trade and organic. We are proud to offer these coffees from all over the world, and that all makes Joe feel mighty good. The coffee is really good, too. We roast it right on the premises in small batches, and pay close attention to it's freshness. Exhausted from paddling and need to recharge? Eddie's got you covered with his signature healthy baked treats and sweets - handcrafted right on the premises and brought in from other very talented local caterers. We also have organic chips, gluten free items, dried fruit & nuts, hemp bars, and a wide variety of fair trade and organic products from all over the world. Chocolates, teas, spices, sugars... you name it, we've got it! Quality bulk flours, grains, beans, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and more; many of which are organic and locally sourced, too. The concept of eating local is a big deal at Eddie's. We source local 'cause it's fresher, healthier and tastier. This concept supports the local economy, and you get to meet the farmer/producer so they can show and tell you what goes into their work and your food. If you have time for a real break, you can set a spell in the gallery of local arts! Enjoy one of our amazing breakfasts or lunches, served up daily with temptingly satisfying specials - always made fresh! Or if you're on the run, get it to go! We are pretty good at quality fast(-ish) food. In the springtime, join the Community Shared Agriculture program that delivers fresh & amazing vegetables for you to Eddie's every week. Check out the super folks at Cedar Down Farms for details. So next time you're driving or paddling through Paisley, drop in and have a look-see. We guarantee you'll be back to Eddie's. |
