Making Joe feel good.

Joe is a real good friend of Eddie. But how much do you know about him? Coffee bean farmers in many countries are suffering as a result of unfair trade laws, overuse of chemical pesticides and herbicides and abuse from local criminals and authorities.

That's why all the beans we brew and sell are fair trade and organic. We are proud to offer these coffees from all over the world and that all makes Joe feel mighty good. The coffee is really good too. We roast it right on the premises in small batches and pay close attention to it's freshness.

Originally, Coffee was eaten. African tribes mixed coffee berries with fat which formed edible energy balls! http://t.co/jemMx4Zi

Exhausted from paddling and need to recharge? Eddie's got you covered with his signature healthy baked treats, and sweets handcrafted right on the premises and brought in from other very talented local caterers. We also have organic chips, gluten free items, dried fruit & nuts, hemp bars, a wide variety of fair trade and organic products from all over the world.

• The car radio broke. That's when Jude Vadala started singing. First she bought an autoharp, then a piano, then a guitar, a mandolin, another guitar and then a fiddle, all of which hang on her kitchen wall. Except the piano. It's in her living room.
Jude has been a tenacious member of the Guelph, Ontario music scene for the past 30 years. Her musical adventures have taken her across Canada and the U.S. with the critically acclaimed group The Bird Sisters where she honed her skills as a songwriter and recording artist.
She has produced four albums (Flo, Different Stories, She and She and She, Angel Songs) and has worked on over 50 musical projects with artists such as Tannis Slimmon, James Gordon, Harri Palm, Jah Youssouf and Lewis Melville, Katherine Wheately and Scott Merritt.

Katherine Wheatley has been a regular at folk festivals, concert series and clubs across Canada since the release of her first CD. As well as her own career, she is a member of the Toronto band, Betty and the Bobs; is a guitarist in Wendell Ferguson’s trio “The Smoking Section”; she presents songwriting, vocal and independent music career workshops at schools, folk clubs and music stores across Canada; and she is the currently the ambassador for the campaign to raise six million dollars for the new hospital in her home town of Parry Sound, Ontario.

Katherine's music has been used for documentaries, tv series and films. Among numerous radio and television appearances, she has been a featured vocalist on Stuart McLean's Vinyl Cafe, as well as a musical guest on Morningside with Peter Gzowski, This Morning with Bernard St. Laurent, TVO's Studio Two, and CBC Radio's Vicki Gabareau Show. She performed her song "On A Beach In France" on CTV's Canada AM and Good Morning Canada to commemorate the anniversary of Dieppe.
