The Georgian Bay Folk Society offers the opportunity for young musicians to perform at the Summerfolk Music & Crafts Festival. Three acts are selected to participate in The Discoveries Concert on Friday night of the Festival. A series of showcase events are established to bring the brightest and best to the Summerfolk stage. Up to 12 acts will be selected from three preliminary showcases to advance to the final Discoveries Showcase at The Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound on Saturday, March 26th.
